Trolls games are the best birthday games to surprise and make you laugh. There is a very odd sense of humor about these party games for kids, as they often aim to subvert your expectation in new and unexpected ways. Plus I forgot to say that once you've opened the 'Documentation' file within the 'Troll folder - you then have to click on the 'Help' button on the left of the screen to see the playing instructions.

Lastly, if you've downloaded and installed it correctly and in time today you've already got the full version, so you can ignore anything that implies you have a demo and talks about buying the full version. It's silly but fun. Yes, teeny tiny, cartoon style, headless, naked men do lurch out of the castles gates, but surely nobody's really found them offensive? Have they..? Oh well. As for no instructions - Open the 'Documentation' file contained in the 'Troll' folder - they're all there.

Still, if instructions aren't your scene, simply click on any crossed swords you can see on the map and try it from there. Not bad graphics from what i can seebut im not sure about the "naked character" that i keep reading about. Well the graphics and humor couldn't be called sophomoric, it doesn't quite reach that high. More like "middle school boy". But hey, this site tries to offer games that appeal to a wide audience. So today's selection should appeal to middle school boys.

This is a very nice game. My mouse hand got a workout defending the villagers. Big Smile. I actually really like this game. What fun! I've never cared much for Arkanoid games before, but this one is fun because you actually feel like you're defending the village, as opposed to just mindlessly bouncing a ball against a wall.

I've really enjoyed most of the games I've downloaded through this site. And, of course, any top-rated games that you've had available here and there since your inception have been even more greatly appreciated.

Off with his head! Naked man? LOL Okay you talked me into downloading and installing this game. I checked out the docs and the website, but how do you start playing this game? Maybe I will figure it out. I just realized my cat is naked!

Does anyone read this site before downloading programs? Those that can't find directions: When you finish the install, you get an option to visit the website, push the button, you go to the website for this product - push the "help" hot button - guess what, instructions on game play - guess you were too excited about the King's name to figure the hard stuff out Those that get wrapped up over a name?

Grow up - if you don't like it, uninstall and get on with life - geez, geeks and infants, very little diff, eh? Same question as If you don't like the game, that's fine. Please, however, give my poor Dad, King Uterus, a break.

After all at least he isn't called King Brooklyn or the likes, and it was my grandparents who came up with his name. Although I agree with the comments regarding King Uterus, Uterus is a valid medical term which should not be offensive.

Also with regards to "this is not suitable for a child" blar blar blar was Game Give-away Of The Day ever promoted as free child's game of the day? Just use your own common sense if you don't think its suitable for your child don't download it but don't witter on about a uterus, also naked man running out of a castle please grow up.

Thanks Stephen aka White rabbit 12 for your review. I also like most of this type of game and shall give it a "test drive". I must delete the game from my computer - I was really enjoying it until the naked man came running out of the castle. Found some documentation which does not explain how to play, which keys, etc. What I did find was interesting. If we are supposed to be getting full versions, why is this in the authors docs? It has no restriction in playability, it is only limited by a number of levels available plus characters you can meet there.

Can't believe this one My first download, there are no playing instructions, and the game can only be activated on the day it's given away. This is not a giveaway. If I change computers a week from now, I lose the game. Not that I would play this one again anyway.

This game earns a thumbs down rating from me. The game play is fair. But it is the inclusion of naked character that earns it. Not something my kids need to see. Queen Uranus. LOL Alright jokes aside, this one doesn't seem quite good, the graphics are horrible and that name Looks like everyone is having a bad day today, lol.

Am I going to be the only one commenting positively about this great giveaway today. I'm amazed as I'm an arkanoid fan and although I played the demo last year wasn't sure about buying it, till I finished the time limited demo only the other day and thought it was actually not a bad clone. It has some original features, such as the meld of space invaders barriers, that in this game are the villagers houses.

As well as some interesting game play features and a novel way of hitting the fireballs that rain down on you from a great selection of castles and mansions. Watch out for the moonies. I thought the storyline was rather funny myself, and know the kids like this one already. My six year old actually asked what a uterus was when I was playing the game last week; so you could say it's even educational.

There's a whole range of humorist games out there and it's a shame that some people have to knock a game because it doesn't tie in with their particular brand of humor. I was really suprised to see another arkanoid clone that I didn't have because I have most of what's been released over the past three or four years costing several hundred pounds in total With respect to comment 3 El stevo; you will find every game offered is a clone of one or other of the genre's available.

It's nothing like the usual ball and bat game breakout clones, so if you just spend a few moments to get into the game, you may be pleasantly suprised. The only game I've seen that comes remotely close to this arkanoid clone is another freeware game called "Wrecker Ball Dream" by Glinkie Games. You have a similar action with respect to moving a ball around the playing area in this case using a cock hen to swing rather than the axe of the troll; the game is set inside an hen house.

I'd recommend this game to anyone out there who likes arkanoid games. Just google the name for a link. Yeah I'm really pleased with todays give away. Thank you very much GoTD team.

This is the first time I have a negative comment. This is game looks like a child did the drawings and the concept. Free is free and I love this site, but with games like this I hope the future is not lost as far as Give away of the day games.
