Call of duty 4 game over veteran

I gave it a couple more goes, and literally less than 5 minutes after posting this, i got a checkpoint. Thank god for that, sorry for what now seems like a redundant post. For any of those interested, there is indeed a checkpoint where i assumed. I have around on the timer, and it activated just after i got around the corner at the end.

Also, it seemed to be right after Griggs says "We haven't got much time blah blah blah". Mike Langlois , If i remember correctly, you get a checkpoint if you get to the checkpoint location within 1 minute or 1 minute 30 seconds after getting the last checkpoint?

Ashen Seraph , Posted on 12 July 09 at Over three hours playing one section, and when i finally post about it to ask for help, i beat it and got the checkpoint. It's worth bearing in mind next time i get stuck on a game though. Abylities 94, Posted on 13 September 09 at Sorry I was late to this thread Zigs : That level's fucked, the checkpoints change or don't register.

Removed Gamer. Call of Duty 4 has an auto-aim feature like past Call of Duty titles. Clicking the "aim" button whilst the cross-hair is near an enemy will get it automatically centered on the enemy.

Use this often as it is a great way of neutralizing a squad. Include your email address to get a message when this question is answered. Some missions are harder. So don't expect the same amount of enemies on every level. Helpful 0 Not Helpful 0. Change the sensitivity. If you turn up the sensitivity it will become more responsive, just keep in mind a higher sensitivity isn't necessarily better. Try a different control scheme.

Sometimes the default control scheme may not be the best. Try a couple of different ones to see if you like those better. Play each difficulty twice through before veteran to get more used to the controls and each difficulty.

Consider a controller that will give you an advantage when times are tough. If you don't have it, don't play it. Call of Duty 4 on Veteran difficulty can be very frustrating and time-consuming.

Play on other difficulties first. If it's your first time, you're probably not going to survive very long. Submit a Tip All tip submissions are carefully reviewed before being published. Don't get too frustrated, take a break, even the most patient players have reached high levels of frustration. Helpful 15 Not Helpful 1. Helpful 12 Not Helpful 2. Take breaks. Simple as it may sound, a well-rested player is better than a tired, frustrated one. Helpful 3 Not Helpful 0. You Might Also Like How to.

You'll get used to it after awhile. I'm quite far along with Veteran, but I stopped playing recently because of new games. No Fighting in the War Room was kinda tough on Hardend! I beat Veteran in a couple days, I actually didn't find Mile High Club that hard, it only took me a half hour. I beat everything except Mile High Club on veteran I am working on my 3rd prestige though.

A bunch of people on my list are finished with the 10th prestige. Veteran isn't really that hard neither is MHC it's just getting the rite route and repeating it until you get through. My first play through on COD4 i chose veteran, took me around a day or two to really finish the single player.

Then went onto the multiplayer and started playing Hardcore mode, nothing beats it in my opinion. I've been stuck on the find Al-Asad mission Brits, the one at night with the church house when you can first call in air support for almost a year now. I go back and try it every month or so, for about three hours at a time before I slam the controller in frustration and just go play MP which is easy by comparison. I completed it on Veteran but thought Mile High would be the end of me.

I managed to get to the end but rushed the shot and killed the hostage. Its like way to many enemies just thrown at you. Some of the earlier levels you can shoot like 8 people in 1 window before they stop comeing.

Finished the broadcast mission, the one with all the TV's and then moved on to other things. No way i will ever finish it on veteran, i had enough trouble getting passed the final missions on normal.
